Role

The Student Ministry Summer Internship exists primarily to train, equip, and provide experience to current and future student leaders who desire to grow in their ability to serve and minister to students. Interns will assist the Student Ministry in making disciples of students through developing relationships and supporting different elements of student summer programming. 

Interns will participate in multiple development and training opportunities throughout the internship for education, training, and mentoring purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and disciple students in The Village Church’s Student Ministry
  • Assist and support the Student Ministry in student summer programming
  • Participate in the multiple development and training opportunities provided during the internship
  • Serve in spaces alongside students where they are already currently involved

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Agree with The Village Church’s Expectations of Membership, Statement of Faith, and Theological Distinctives and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
  • High school diploma required
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of the gospel
  • Desire to pursue or explore vocational student ministry
