In our last update, we let you know that we had decided to delay our reopening date of July 26 indefinitely in light of COVID case spikes across Texas. Now, with cases trending downward and schools beginning to reopen, we have exciting news to share with you. We will begin to meet again for in-person worship services on Sunday, September 27, at 10 a.m.!

To start out, we will only offer one service at 10 a.m. with a limited capacity based on proper social distancing protocols. As need arises, we may add service times, but 10 a.m. lines up well with our TVC at Home livestream, which we will continue to offer for those who are not able or not comfortable with attending in-person. You will need to reserve seats through our website to attend the service. As we get closer to September 27, we will communicate more details on how to reserve seats and what to expect.

We will not offer Little Village or Kids Village at this time. Your children are welcome in the service, but we will not offer in-person, kid-specific programming; rather, we will continue to utilize our weekly video lessons for kids.

For your safety and the safety of others, we will require anyone ages 10 and up to wear a face mask the entire time they are in the building. We recommend face masks for children ages 5–9 but we won’t require it for those ages. We recognize this is not everyone’s preference, but it will be vital for us all to adhere to so that we can continue in-person services. An additional reason you’ll need to wear a mask is because we will sing! We value corporate worship, and we want to lift up our voices together to praise God. We won’t offer communion at this time.

It’s important to note that this reopening update only applies to the gathering at this time. All other ministries and events will continue to take place virtually. We will focus our attention on in-person worship and will work to phase in other ministries at a later time.

As a means of worship during this season, we encourage you to choose the option that is best for you and your family:

• In-Person: Gather with us at 10 a.m. at the Flower Mound campus
• TVC at Home: Gather with us virtually via the live stream every Sunday at 10 a.m. (including Little Village and Kids Village video lessons available every Sunday morning)
• Groups: Gather in homes with your Home Group and join us for the livestream (sign up for GroupConnect if you’re not currently in a group)

Thank you for your patience and your grace these past months. While the service on September 27 will look and feel different, and while we recognize our entire church body won’t be able to meet yet, we are eager to gather again and plan what the next months could look like. Join us in praying for September 27 and for the Lord to prepare our hearts for Him to continue doing profound works among us during this season.
