Production Manager

TVC Responsibilities:
I oversee the production of the weekend gathering. I manage projects and technology for the Production and Worship teams. I oversee the production process for recorded music that The Village Church releases.

When and how did the Lord save you?
I don’t remember a specific day or moment, just a general timeframe. I think I was in the 2nd grade, which would have put the year around 1997. I remember attending a kids’ camp with the church I grew up at, and the Lord started to do a work in my life through that experience.

When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
I started to attend TVC in 2015. I was looking for a place to recharge after working for a church for a long season of life. My sister and brother-in-law were members, and I started by sitting with them and then joined a Home Group to get plugged in deeper. About a year later, I came on staff.

If you had to give a TED Talk, what subject would you choose to speak on, and why?
“Why Sound Quality Matters” – Speech should be intelligible and articulate. Music is emotional and artistic. People should be drawn into what is happening on the stage instead of the platform being a barrier. People can feel the difference in sound quality, which means they can hear the difference.

If you were to have your childhood dream job, what would your job be?
A baseball player or a chef

Which fictional character would you be friends with in real life, and why?
Walter Mitty, because he picked himself up and took charge of his life. He overcame his fears and anxieties and did some incredible things. I am not saying that I want to climb the Himalayas, but I very much admire the courage he exercised to overcome his obstacles.
