TVC Responsibilities:
I help people learn how they can play a role in missions at TVC. I develop TVC members with pre-field training. I deploy trained missionaries to strategic opportunities on the field.
When and how did the Lord save you?
I grew up in a Christian home with parents who loved Jesus deeply. At home or in church, I regularly learned about God’s story of His redemption through Jesus for all people on earth. It was around junior high when I truly saw my sin and my need for Jesus’ blood to cover me. I believed in Jesus at that point, knowing He and He alone had the power to save and reconcile me to God.
When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
God shaped my heart to have deep compassion for the lost. I began praying for the Lord to send me where the gospel is needed most and allow my life to impact the unreached peoples of the world for the sake of Jesus being worshipped. I was able to be trained in cross-cultural ministry, and at the beginning of 2020, the Lord provided me with a new role in full-time mobilization of the church, specifically in training and equipping laborers to be sent out to places where the gospel is most needed. I joined TVC in 2023 to serve in Global Missions as a Mobilizer, as the church desires to train and send members to unreached people groups. It is my joy seeing people follow Jesus and the gospel be launched across the earth so that the nations will worship our King.
If you had to give a TED Talk, what subject would you choose to speak on, and why?
I would talk about the importance of having crucial conversations with people and how to do it. Everyone can and should grow in relating well with others!
Which fictional character would you be friends with in real life, and why?
A detective of some sort because I love to read mysteries—perhaps Sherlock Holmes or Hercule Poirot.
