Role
The Human Resources Director is responsible for compliance, compensation, benefits, personnel management, and performance development.
Responsibilities
- Oversee organizational compliance with current employment law
- Oversee the administration and management of our employee benefits program
- Oversee personnel management including onboarding and offboarding employees
- Maintain a compensation program and strategy to ensure appropriate and fair pay
- Direct the annual performance review process
- Equip employees by providing development resources to enhance staff performance, leadership, and growth
Qualifications and Requirements
- Agree with The Village Church’s Expectations of Membership, Statement of Faith and Theological Distinctives and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
- 5+ years of experience in HR, including experience in leading an HR team
- Professional certification in HR
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in leveraging HRIS platforms and modern workplace technologies
