Life Story

I was fortunate to grow up in a Christian home. My dad started a church the year I was born, and I was saved at the age of 7. But my walk with Jesus became real later in life when my faith became my own. I started seeking God daily while I was in high school.

In 2009, I married my high school sweetheart, Danielle. Our son, Merrick, was born in 2013. All through high school, my friends and I created music videos to upload and share. With that, my passion grew for video and film, and I decided to attend the Art Institute of Seattle.

After graduation, I was hired by a large tech company in Seattle, where I led their internal media team for three years. During those years, I followed The Village Church podcast and really enjoyed the message and mission of The Village. The Lord opened a lot of doors in order for us to get to this point, and we are very excited for all God has for us here at The Village.

Hope for The Village Church

My hope for The Village is to see lives changed through the gospel. I hope that the community within our church seeks to live wholeheartedly for Jesus. I pray that The Village would be a safe place for people to be vulnerable, with the goal of being shaped and modeled into a people that seek to do His will. Ultimately, it is my hope that The Village would bring glory to God through His people.
